- A Texas high school cheerleader is being praised for her quick actions that saved a little boy's life
- Tyra Winters, 17, was sitting on a float waving at the crowd during her school's homecoming parade when she heard a woman call for help
- Tyra noticed a toddler in his mother's arms who was choking on a piece of candy
- She jumped off her school's float and performed the Heimlich maneuver on the toddler who then spat up the food
- The youngster, named Clarke, was able to breathe once again after Tyra's actions.
And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

May God bless Tyra.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that the Mom couldn't do the job??? Why did Tyra have to be the one to take charge and save the toddler's life?
ReplyDeleteGood on her for stepping up.
Outstanding situational awareness on Tyra's part. What's with the pinky finger thing?
ReplyDeleteWell done young lady!!!!
