    1. Bought my first SAAB in 1967 European Delivery Plan for $1,300.00. SAAB shipped the car to New Haven for free after driving it in Europe. Sold the "tank" when it had 125,000 miles. The two cycle engine delivered 47 horse power but could send the car at 80 mph with ease in Eastern Montana where I lived for two years and got over 40 mpg. One summer day I drove it for 750 miles.
