Feast

  1. Okay, from 12 o'clock: Guacamole tostada (toz-tah-tha). 3 o'clock: frijole (free-hoe-lay) tostada. 11o'clock - 5 o'clock: Elote (eh-low-teh - boilded corn with mayonnaise, sprinkled with paperika.

No idea what 6 o'clock - 9 o'clock are but both toppings are on flour tortilla (tore-tea-yah).

That concludes our Spanish lesson for today ... :^)

Pro-Tip: If there is a Mexican dish you particularly enjoy, learn how to pronounce the name of the dish or its ingredients so can be communicated to waiter. I can't count the times I eat at lunch trucks outside with frustrated customers not knowing how to tell the lady they want bacon (toe-cee-know) or sausage (sal-chee-cheh) mixed in your egg (weh-voe). It goes a long way to improving your meal.
