And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I live mostly in Seattle, but have a place in lower eastern Washington. So many Spanish out there, just the best folks you ever want to meet. And there are a lot of guys, and some cute senorities, who do horse shows. AMAZING stuff. And, I gotta warn you, you can mess with a man's wife, mess with his dog, mess with his work, but NEVER mess with his horse. Same goes for the women. In fact, I'd prefer to be on the wrong side od the men than the women. Them's some tough ladies, fer sure.
