  1. I wonder if it started out as a water tank and was converted into a cabin or was it built with this in mind?
    It looks a little tall (to me) to have been a water tank.
    A good snow fall could make getting out a tough job...

  4. Huh - I looked at that and thought, "Not It!" about hauling firewood all the way up there for the stove. I'm blaming it on the season - firewood season is NOW - before elk season opens!

  7. it is called a barrel sauna. comes as kit. can be put up in one day. not too expensive.

  8. The winerys on Sicily used casks in that shape.

    Don't recall them being quite that big, but tuats the shape.
