And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

At next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW will display a one-off version of the forthcoming third-generation X6 SUV that's been fully coated in Vantablack paint, in which carbon nanotubes are used to create one of the darkest substances on Earth.
hopefully, it absorbs all manner of radiation, thermal(needs a BIG a/c), laser, microwave, and yet is pleasing to the eye lacking the glare of sparkling chromium. but, if it catches fire will the carbon nanotubes cause shorts in electronics downwind of the fire?
I bet it will be radar invisible and absorb most lasers too, Speed to your hearts content. Don't worry about the front plate or head lights or that huge grill in the front.
I would love to have that color on my BMW.
ReplyDeleteI've said for years that I like black. I wear a lot of it. My cars are black. I think it suits me. And if I could find a darker color, I'd wear it.
