  1. Couple of summers ago we were on vacation at New Bern, NC and saw a lot of Ospreys flying by nice and low !!

  3. Matthew, they were from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point just down. I did some analysis many years ago there on how well the Marines train Harrier pilots. (Not so well at the time.) I was there from the summer before to the winter after 9/11. Talk about kicking over an ant hill. They went from peace time training to a war footing in the gun squadrons. Very bad news for the tangos, for sure.
