And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

MV-22B Osprey, assigned to the Blue Knights of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365
Matthew, they were from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point just down. I did some analysis many years ago there on how well the Marines train Harrier pilots. (Not so well at the time.) I was there from the summer before to the winter after 9/11. Talk about kicking over an ant hill. They went from peace time training to a war footing in the gun squadrons. Very bad news for the tangos, for sure.
Couple of summers ago we were on vacation at New Bern, NC and saw a lot of Ospreys flying by nice and low !!

We get a few occasionally in Western North Carolina. You know they're on the way by the similar, but louder UH-1 whomp, whomp.
