And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My dad had a 1958 Buick 4 door painted purple and we called it his "Purple Passion Pit" He was an accountant and it did raise some eyebrows. It had the big Straight 8 in it. Five kids could sit across the back seat.
Had a '56 Century for a few months I bought for 75 bucks back in '69....no springs under the hood.....SOB weighed a ton and had to keep a broom stick to hold it up to check the oil....car floated down the road....what a pos it was.....supposed to be a second car for me to drive to work....wife got the Barracuda....LOL....
