And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I spent 58 of my 60 years living in Kansas City. All four of those places are so good its hard to pick the best. Can't forget the dozens and dozens of very close. Johnny's in Olathe KS, Smoking Guns in North Kansas City comes to mind. Live further South now, can't hardly find any decent BBQ down here. And to add insult to injury, nobody knows what a Burnt End sandwich is. Infidels, I am surrounded by Infidels.
Of the four, Jack Stack is my favorite. I don't know if Joe's KC or Q39 sell their sauces, but they're my favorite BBQ joints. BB's Lawnside is good too, and they have live music.
