And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
OSHA, googles, guide aside, take a look at those monsterous turnbuckles! It is obvious that this thing is turning clockwise. The lineshaft belt is visble on the right margin. This is most likely powered by a stream engine driven lineshaft. If something catastrophic happened, like a bearing seizure or housing failure, the wheel would have enough inertia to take off like a rocket, blow through a brick wall, take out every Model A in the employee parking lot and blow through a few more factories!
