  1. I had an old 1917 Smith in 45 ACP many moons ago. I wished I'd kept it. Those were a working man's tools.

    I love old hardware like that.

    1. My father in law had a similar old S&W revolver. Chambered in 32-20. When he passed, the fam had me unload it for them (!). The finish was about as worn out and awful as it could be - but it functioned perfectly.

  4. Man, its been ages since I shot my old 1917, I need to fix that. Surplus Brazilian police 1938 returned to U.S. via the 1980's.
