And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A B-24 Liberator (Q2-M_, serial number 42-52534) nicknamed “Witchcraft” of the 467th Bomb Group releases bombs over the target.
Unless they have rebuilt one in the last year. There are no flying B24 or B17's in the US that served overseas in WW2. As of 2017 all of the flyable 24's were used as training aircraft in the US during WW2 and carried the repainted markings of combat aircraft. AN FYI. There is only ONE P51 left that saw combat in the ETO. Almost all warbirds flying today are bits of multiple wrecks and refabricated parts. Aircraft that saw combat are almost ALL in The USAF museum or the Smithsonian. There are fewer than 10 WW2 combat veterans still flying anywhere in the world. All the rest were trainers, rebuilds, or static displays.---Ray
Just for the record. There are only TWO flying B-24's left on earth, and one in restoration that MAY fly again. All the rest(15 total) are static displays.---Ray
I think this one is still flying around.
