And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

At the local pound.
9 weeks old. Mrs. CW would like this. I totally shouldn't, but if I come home with it, it'll get snatched out of my hands and smothered in female attention.
Oh, I'd take her home. I would name her "Sucha", as in Sucha Fine Cat - like the cajun once named a cat of his. BTW, anyone know what happened to his blog? Just went out like a light a few weeks ago. (Mostly Cajun, All American and Opinionated) - http://mostlycajun.com/wordpress/
WHOA!!! I was amazed that you were able to bring up the Cajun's blog using the same URL and I couldn't, so I tried it using IE...and guess what! It opened the blog! I rely on Firefox for my browser, but since July 19th it has not been able to connect with that blog. I'd not thought of using a different browser. I'm so grateful to you, Eskyman for letting me know you were able to open it. Hooray!! THANK YOU!!
Name it claws.
ReplyDeleteThat way, when it climbs her drapes, you can point it out and suggest that it's living up to its name.
I suggest: Sparkle. Because when she gives you and your family lots of happiness your eyes will tear up and sparkle.
ReplyDeleteI named my sister's cat Dusty Shit-Foot. It's appropriate.
ReplyDeleteMy last cat was a stray that adopted us. The SO named her "Tara". I called her "Terror". Why not let the Missus give her a name?
ReplyDelete"White Fang", from the Soupy Sales show of long ago......
ReplyDeleteI loved Soupy back in the day. Thanks for bringing him back into my memory, Regnad. Wasn't the other animal Black tooth?
DeleteBSB - Here in DenCO we get Soupy on Sat. afternoons on Retro TV, Ch.16.4 . And, yes, there was Black Tooth also. Forward, into the past !
Delete"Velcro"

ReplyDeleteHe's still there, still posting, just read him about 15 minutes ago.
DeleteNow aherdofturtles keeps coming up as a web-site for sale.
Hmmm... conservative blocking?
My URL for him gives me this: Not Found
DeleteThe requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Do you have another one? I was afraid something had happened to him.
Must be your gear or connection, Barbar Cat- I just went to Mostly Cajun at that URL & it was right there.
DeleteBTW, thanks for the link: I used to be a regular visitor there but somehow he dropped off my radar. Now I will be again!

DeleteI am really bad with pet names so I will abstain.
ReplyDeleteBueregards?
ReplyDeleteGive it a few days. The cat will name itself.
ReplyDeleteThis right here. I was going to suggest you wait and see how she acts.
