North American FJ-4 Fury

  1. Reminds me, Medal of Honor awardee Capt. Thomas J. Hudner, Jr., was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery last Wednesday. He was the pilot who purposely crash landed a perfectly good aircraft in North Korea in an attempt to save a fellow pilot who had been shot down. This incident occurred near the Chosin reservoir in 1950.

    1. The Fury -2 and -3 were closer to the F-86

The -4s carried a number of improvements

The museum in Buffalo that houses the Little Rock, the Sullivans and the Croaker also has a beautiful FJ-4.
