And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Just the thing to mount on the back of that Power Wagon
During the draw-down in Afghanistan I was a contractor and stuck at an OP they were shutting down. They had 20k rounds of 40mm that needed disposal. Everything from smoke to incendiary. I convinced the First Sergent that I could help with that task. I shot it up in two sessions. I also got an intense one on one with armorer on how to clean and lube a MK-19.
mark 19, perfect answer to the question of testing the resolve of an attacker. one should never piss of the armorer by presenting the armorer with a filthy weapon and saying "fix it". you could end up throwing rocks
Seldom felt undergunned riding between a pair of XM-134s (and our CE/doorgunners with their M-60s). The occasional .51cal/12.7mm could alter that opinion though. regards, Alemaster
It sends an undeniable message.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet it is.
ReplyDeleteAnd one trigger pull is a month's ammo budget. Full auto's a lot of fun if somebody else is paying for the ammo.
ReplyDeleteYou got that right.
