And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Surfers nope out on a giant wave at Jaws, Hawaii, 2015
I learned how to surf on the NE Florida waves which at best were 4 to 5 feet. When I was stationed in Gulfport MS we would take a boat out to the oil rigs and surf the 6 ft wake of the tankers as they headed to Louisiana. I got to surf Vero Beach in CA but the 2 weeks I was there the best they could do was 5 foot waves.
The raw power in a wave like that is just awesome, and awe inspiring. I do not feel the least bit of disdain for those blokes going, "Nope!" In fact, just shows theyre pretty smart!
