And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

BUFF's forever! They are close to becoming elderly - April 15 is their 66th birthday (from first flight). And don't say they already are elderly - I'm 67 and not elderly yet!!
It must be nice to have a dashboard big enough to fly Old Glory. :-)

DeleteThe original line was "... a pretty good weekend in Dallas..." but the movie was in post-production after Kennedy was shot, hence the change.
DeleteAlso, Pickens was never told it was a comedy; he played it as drama.
I don't know. It sorta looks like that one plane is trying to stick it to America.
