Democrats’ Filibuster Blocks Senate Immigration Debate - Wait, what??

Isn't this what they wanted, a debate on the Illegals?

The surprise Democratic filibuster began Tuesday morning when the Senate’s Majority Leader, GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell, introduced an amendment restricting sanctuary cities, which polls show are very unpopular. Sen. Chuck Schumer quickly refused consent, saying it “doesn’t address dreamers, nor does it address border security.”
“We need to be focusing on making laws that deal with those two issues, not making a point,” Schumer later told reporters. “We want to do two things – protect Dreamers and get 60 votes.”
“The path to sixty [votes] is by focusing” on just those issues, said Sen. Chris Coons who has drafted an amnesty bill with human scum Sen. John McCain.
When asked by a reporter how the chain migration issue could be split from citizenship for younger illegal immigrants, Loathsome slime Chuck "You" Schumer simply widened the Democrats’ demands by suggesting that the illegal-immigrant parent’s young illegals should also get amnesty.
Rand says it best:
In case you didn’t think Congress was absurd before, Senate Democrats are now filibustering the open immigration debate they asked for, and are refusing to put their bill on the floor.

The Democrats’ ‘dreamer’ bills are intended to win amnesty for at least 3.25 million young illegals, regardless of their huge cost and their impact on Americans’ workplaces and communities.  Hey, let's allow that many law breakers to sell their votes to the Democrats, who will then reward them by taxing heavily real, working Americans so they can be paid off!

  1. I predicted this weeks ago when President Trump called their
bluff on DACA. Even in my home state of Mexifornia, among
registered voters 72 percent oppose sanctuary cities. I
would think the illegal alien issue sould be at roughly
the same level. If the most liberal crap-hole in the
union is polling this high, nationwide this could be an
    80+ percent issue.

The Democrats are appealing to their radical base. The
problem is that the radical left is no more than 7 percent
of the popluation at large. They may be insane in their
beliefs, but they are not stupid. If they are forced to
vote for this, they will get their asses stomped like
a Narc at a biker Rally in November.

Their fillibuster is nothing more than a strategic withdrawl.
In predicting their reaction to Trump's offer, I knew that
DACA would die on the vine in March because they tried to
out bluff the Cal Worthington of politics. Trump won before
he even met with the Donks because he predicted their every
    move!

    1. "The Cal Worthington of Politics." Ha, exactly right, but mixed in with a little Sun Tzu.
