1963 Rambler sedan

Over at Old Parked Cars, this classic of American road iron, a Rambler from 1963.

Who says Detroit never made a good economy car?

  1. Dick Teague designed the Classic for AMC and it won the Car Of The Year award from Motor Trend. My grandmother bought a '64 Classic new and I owned and drove that car for many years in the late '80s', early 90's. I always wanted to shave the emblems off and put a small block Chevy in there. All who rode in her loved the "Blur".

    1. I loved the Blur, especially all the little secrets and techniques for keeping it running. By the way, Lou, the kids and I installed a siren in the NTurd this weekend that I'd had sitting around for decades. It works great, and consequently the po - lice are gonna hate me.

    1. It's interesting that they seem to be the same color.
