And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Reminds me of an Evinrude that a friend owned (might still have it) that was not much newer than that. That little motor would troll right down and just putter all day. Back in the day when OMC was in "Peterborough", just down Number 7 highway. Also where they made Johnsons. Steve_in_Ottawa
When I was in Kiddygarden, my next door neighbor lady would get bored with her husband working at Boeings and her son in school all day, she took me on adventures. Lake Washington, Bellevue she had a motor that looked like that and we would just putter through the Lilly pads around the old whaling piers of Meydenbaur Bay. Back before the condos etc, 1954-55? I was a kid... Great Memories... Probably a 10' boat.......
