And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Ignore the silly hacksaw. The stag on that is exceptional.
I am guessing that it is a pipe cleaner. A popular accessory. when people smoked pipes. It is used to remove spent tobacco. Then, fresh tobacco is placed in the pipe bowl again and lit. But I am showing my age :)
That's properly called a "Chainsaw Bayonet", as reported by the firearms experts at USA Today. They covered the AR platform and the many deadly accessories that could be legally attained for it, including grenade launchers. The young staff writers at USA Today sure do know their weapons of war.
Collected knives for a few years but never saw anything like this combo. Closest would be some medical use for veterinarians. Doesn't have a good blade for whittling ( my favorite carrying knife are Case whittler style). Looked at Queen's online catalogue, but it was a little hard to navigate. I'm sure you could find it there if you want to take the time. Bubbarust
That’s not a hacksaw, much more like a miniature coping saw, a whittler’s dream knife…
ReplyDeleteI defer to your expertise. I've never seen such a thing before.
DeleteNeeds a sheep foot
DeleteWhat’s that golf club shaped thing in the middle?

ReplyDeleteWhat's a stag?
ReplyDeleteKnife handle made from a deer antler.
DeleteNot as useful as the chainsaw attachment on my AR.

P.S. That's Queen Cutlery... They went out of business a few years ago, but had been around over a hundred years.
