And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I always love and hate Friday Open Road. Love it because he always chooses interesting and breathtaking stuff. Hate it because it reminds me of all the places I've never gotten to and probably never will. Still, keep em coming !
Clark Griswold would have been a lot cooler in that woody. Anyone else notice the plate or only distracted by the dog. Be aware of distractions these days. Notice key elements. Live safe be strong. Eastwood
Great stuff...again! The 1959 Ford is a retractable hardtop, and I would have liked the be there when the girl from the canoe climbed back out of the water.
EXCEPTIONALLY good collection this week, CW, and that is getting tougher to do. Thanks for these. They're a real highlight of the browsing week for me.
What a great Friday Open Road! The lady jumping from the canoe was caught at just the right instant. Thank you CW! Steve_in_Ottawa

I remember when Obama shut down the government and you couldn't even pull over to look at the Grand Tetons. Our enslavement began a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteLand and Parks owned by We The People. A quiet revolt would have solved that problem.
DeleteI noticed that, Steve_in_Ottawa, the joy on her face. Perfect!
