And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As noted above, with the right winter tires, which are readily available in the correct sizes from Michelin, Pirelli, Nokian, and Continental, the Porsches at least will do quite well, especially the AWD cars. Here in USA, most people aren’t used to having true winter tires and try to get by with All Season models, which are too compromised to be very good at anything.

ReplyDeletePorsche made successful rally cars. Now if you said they should get a Ford RS 200 then I'd agree!
ReplyDeleteWeight on the rear axle (and maybe all wheel drive) make them surprisingly good winter cars if driven right.
