  6. The inventor (or at least the patent holder) of the aglet made a fortune. If you visit Redlands, California, there are Victorian mansions sprinkled around from the town's days as a wintering spot for the wealthy. The 1894 golf course there is the second oldest on the west coast. One of the mansions, I forget which one, was built by the aglet heir.

  8. I can recall in the late 60's early,or early 70's mexican crevasse bottles had a similar bottom that had teeth in it which server to remove the cap of your next one
