And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
if this is the same snow storm I'm thinking of, 6 yr old kids could walk in their own tunnels under the snow; I did the snow was at least as high as the top of a car door on Jerome Ave in Da Bron'x
She's got boots on, he's just being chivalrous. I'm born and raised in Upstate NY between Buffalo and Rochester and the lake snow can be vicious. Fifteen miles can make the difference between 3 ft of snow and a dusting.

ReplyDeleteI remember in the late '50s when we drove to Buffalo in a canyon (of snow) 10' deep on a road at the bottom of the Lakes
Probably off to the nearest bar and then into the sack. Like the old biker saying “Gas,Grass,or Ass” no one rides for free!
