And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
At least 1972 as that's a Mark 2 Raleigh Chopper. You can tell from the shape of the frame. The seat was moved forward from the Mark 1 to stop the front end lifting so easily.
Don’t forget the Schwinn Stingray Orange crate and the Ross Apollo five speeds as well. They used to give one away every Sat.morning on Wonderama. Klaus
I had a couple of days in Newcastle for business back in the 2000s. Quaint, I wish I could go back and explore a bit more. Highlight of my very few hours when not working on that trip, was to see an actual part of Hadrian's Wall.
Definitely the '70s, look at the seat on that bike.
