And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As I indicated in a fairly recent comment, I am in the throes of watching the Netflix show "The Vikings." As they swing their swords and battle axes, I wonder how long I could last. I mean, my arms would have gotten too tired after the first five minutes of a battle!!!
I remember that movie from when I was a kid. Early 60's. Don't really remember the movie, but those early graphics, i.e. the fighting skeletons, left a lasting impression.
