The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? If you have to work outside and kneel, this helps.
I have a similar (thinner) one. Due to age and arthritis I pretty much have to use it or knee pads for any hard surface work. This one looks mighty nice.
I have 2 of those. Tractor seat cushion, knee pad, poker night chair cushion
