I picked up one of these years ago, and they do in fact point very naturally. A good little pistol.

  1. knew a guy who had one he got from his parents after they passed on. he was trying to get a new firing pin for it. I think he had to have one made for it.
I think it was a 32 or maybe a 380. not sure as this was back in the late 1970's
but it did handle quite well from what I remember. he also got a old Mossberg Brownie (?) 22 pistol. now that is what I wanted to buy from him, but he wouldn't sell it.

  2. I had family working there. Wish they could have afforded those guns (poor workers).

  3. "Send 6c in stamps for book" - now that's old-timey. I haven't heard that since the '40s.

  4. My wife had a Ruger 2.75" Securuty Six .357 mag loaded with hollow points when I met her and still does so I guess she didn't really need one of these. But it is a cool pistol.

  5. I can tell you from personal experience that little guns make for very sore hands when fired often.

    1. Understand about little guns. I EDC a little J-frame .38+p that I call the "noisy cricket". As I get older I can appreciate the kick it provides. Still, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end. It'll ruin your day...

    2. I view little handguns as "Get Off of Me!" guns.

  6. Mine is quite easy to shoot. But being made in 1916, I tend to keep it hidden away.

  8. I had one of these in .32 Auto. Horrible, heavy trigger.
