And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I got my son this set for Christmas (he's starting to build his tool set). It's decent. The sockets have 2 flat-sides on them so that you can get a wrench on it if stuck, and the ratchet has a nice, tight, smooth 'click' to it. ... And it was HALF that price at Northern Tools when they had their Christmas sale.
I've come to dislike these cases because it often means I have to take a glove off to get at a socket. Much prefer the old metal-type cases with a swing lid. The flat side for 'wrench assist' is a nice feature though.
Amen to that. You can have my dad's old SKF set when, etc etc. And of course none of these sets are the kind of quality you got decades ago with American drop forged steel.
Whole lotta money for a little bit of tool. Plus, where do you put your other stuff, like universals, reducers, longer extensions, etc. And, who uses 1/2" anyway? I have COMPLETE sets of 3/8" and 3/4" and all of it is in 1 drawer of my Waterloo bottom cabinet. One more drawer just for wrenches.
