And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I love these. Not just this week's set. Every Time. Thank you for the wonderful job you do collecting and posting these; work for you, pure relaxation for us.
#3 That’s what happens when my head light burned out. Cop on a side street admitted to seeing it burn out. Still took me 10 minutes to talk him out of writing a ticket for it…
when I zoomed in on the squared away guy in the black jeep gripping his thunder stick, the pic gave me the impression he didn’t like what was going on at his entry. MF
As I spend a few minutes every Friday looking at the Open Road photo essay, I find myself physically decompressing and feeling really great. THANK YOU!!!
The epic switchbacks (before the green jeep picture) are in Fagaras Romania. The road was built in the 1970's supposedly to defend the country from invasion. I enjoyed the trip up the mountain to the pass where there is good hiking and food.
I figured out that if I go from 3rd to 5th gear in my dodge diesel it'll roll coal at a slower speed. Really enjoying doing that when I finally get a chance to pass a group of bicycles after I've been behind them for the last mile
