And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Even though I can only see part if this, I can confidently say that I'd commute in it.
I think its a Talbot-Lago formula 1, about 1950/52. The blue colour is French Racing blue, all the countries had their own colours; Blue for France, Green for Britain, Silver for Germany, Red for Italy, Yellow for Belgium, Blue/White for America.
Yeah British racing green, considered highly unlucky in racing in the US. Seen it 3 times, fellow racers shared a garage with over time, we all would caution them, they all laughed, everyone of them crashed so hard they never came back, and all three mocked the superstition as ludicrous, before they where injured. Legend, it is the curse of La Mans, when all those spectators died from a British race car with magnesium bodywork caught fire tumbling spraying fuel, into the stands.
Almost! This was the 1955 smash where Pierre Levegh crashed his Magnesium bodied Mercedes 300 SLR into the crowd, killing over 70 people. Mercedes, so German and silver in colour.
The part I can see says probably not road legal.
