And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I like when the pilots give a salute after they've tanked up.
It's nice to have a job where you're appreciated. I was a logger, so the only salute I ever got was with a middle finger. Although I did get a 'thumbs up' one time from a little kid out of the back window of his Mom's station wagon as she passed me on the freeway. That made my day.
