  1. You don't even have to wait that long these days. Something ain't right with the food these days. As a kid we used to get 20 50 lb bags of potatoes and put them in the cellar. They would last until spring.
    Nowadays they won't even last 2 weeks; either they spoil or they sprout.

That causes them to sprout quickly and go to rot much faster once they’re in their consumers food chain. Best advice he can get his grow your own. I’ve been growing 500 pounds a year on my farm they tend to last all winter until spring but sometimes you have to pick off the eyes periodically in the winter.
