  1. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. One bad ass looking car, not a bad performer either. Compare that 'Stang to the eggshells on wheels that the govment (sic) has mandated thru epa, safety and yadayada more regulations we all drive. Sad, and those ridiculous EVs are soon to be the next mandate. God help us.

  2. I love that body style, and have rode in/driven one. That back window for as big as it is, you really have no rearward vision. Basically what you see in the rear view is about the same view if you turned around and looked without the rear view mirror.
The exterior mirrors have more visibility.

    1. It's a blind spot on wheels. Then they would put those louvers on the rear window to make sure you couldn't see anything.

  3. Worst car I ever owned. Couldn't handle snow and trunk leaked

  4. I had a cousin that had the 69 with the 390 and the locker rear end. If you were going around a corner and the rear went "clunk" it would get out of shape sliding through the corner. She totaled it when she lost it on a corner and rolled it. Her husband got her a new 74 Mach 1 that had a v-6 in it.

  5. My 2nd and last Mustang was a 1971 Mach I. 351 Cleveland, 4-speed, metallic blue. New it was about $3,600. It did what I intended it to do after a nasty divorce. It looked great and was a babe magnet, but the quality was below standards. Actually crap. I sold it in 1972 and never regretted seeing it go.

  6. In the Northeast those cars would be rust buckets after 3 winters.
