And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Back when I was a young pup, stationed on Kodiak, waaay back in the hills on Murder Creek we had a lashed up creation called a "Banya", which is a steambath. We'd drink our instant courage, then run over to the stream and jump into the pool of water. It was about the size of a big living room, and looked to be about knee deep. It wasn't. It was at least 6 or 7 feet deep, and cold, really cold. So we'd jump in, thrash our way back to shore , then back into the Banya. Inside was a 55 gal. drum, with heavy mesh wire around it, filled with rocks. A rubber crab net bouy was our bucket. Get water, dump water on stove, (stove has obligatory roaring fire) and enjoy the clouds of steam, all while drinking the beverage of choice. It'd probably kill me now. But back then, man, you felt great afterwards.
There's gotta be a trout or two in that water.
