And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Right now, a SOG PowerPint multi-tool, a 32 Gig San Disk and a zip lock baggie in case I find something I need to carry away or back home. That is a nice sodbuster pictured.
Yeah, the 9mm mag for sure, but on my belt, actually. And I've had just about every kind of pocket knife one could imagine, but the one that has lasted the longest and is my favorite is a $12 flip lock-blade knife I bought at a gun show a few years ago. Keeps an edge and very handy, clipped to my right front pocket.
If things ever get REALLY spicy, I have a WWII era K-Bar that I might have to start carrying.
This morning's pocket dump.... Left Front * Folding cash (about $80) in a worn, but still functional money clip Right Front * Burt's Bees Lip Balm (Peppermint, and sure, founded by hippies, but I like it) * Comb * Keyring with a Leatherman Squirt PS4 * Kershaw 1670BLKST Knife * Streamlight Microstream USB
The newest addition is that flashlight, and I've surprised myself at how often I use it.
A Victorinox 10-tool folder that my husband bought for me as an anniversary present decades ago. Used frequently over the years. "Women don't need pocket knives (or pockets)"--- HAH! The leaf spring for the scissors broke some time back, but everything else still works great. Most useful gift I've ever received.
