  3. I’ve watched one snag some pretty large Koi from my neighbors pond a few times. Poor bastards stick out like a sore thumb.

    1. There's a bull pine behind my house with a perfect perch branch the local osprey use when they've caught a fish and want to eat it in peace. I get a ring side seat to watch, from my couch, and sometimes it's amazing the size of fish they can bring up there to eat. I'll post a picture...

    2. I remember years ago, when the landscaping crew of a seaside golf course saw an osprey fumble a three foot leopard shark. They threw it in the back of the Gator, drove it down to the shore, and tossed it back in the Pacific. I imagine that shark drank for free in a shark bar that night!

  5. Wahkiakum County/State of Washington/Cathlamet (my town). Beat around a little on Facebook using those terms accompanied by "photography." Bird fights roundabouts are something else - Eagles and Osprey
