And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There's a bull pine behind my house with a perfect perch branch the local osprey use when they've caught a fish and want to eat it in peace. I get a ring side seat to watch, from my couch, and sometimes it's amazing the size of fish they can bring up there to eat. I'll post a picture...
I remember years ago, when the landscaping crew of a seaside golf course saw an osprey fumble a three foot leopard shark. They threw it in the back of the Gator, drove it down to the shore, and tossed it back in the Pacific. I imagine that shark drank for free in a shark bar that night!
