  2. I do not recognize the species. I did recognize dinner, fish sandwiches for lunch, dinner again. Flip and repeat or vacuum seal and freeze for another day.

  3. That is known as an Asian Tunnel fish, only found in certain parts of the Mekong Delta. They feed on a high protein river grass. This picture had to have been taken in southern Vietnam.

  4. That is NOT Vietnam.....the red willow and green Cedar behind bespeaks of somewhere above the 34 degree parallel..

  5. That is a King Salmon, known to regularly exceed 70/80 lbs.
The record is 96 lbs for a rod and reel, 126 lbs netted at sea.

  6. I would agree with Taimen because of the red tail and overall colouring. King salmon of that size look different in body shape as well.

  7. King Salmon. On her way upriver to spawn. Once salmon start swimming upriver, they are swimming a long, slow death. The skin starts taking on a reddish color, the meat begins to decay and loosen. Still good eating if you catch them early in the run.
