And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I bought a TV stand from Amazon that used metal pipe as the legs. One of the legs had a defective clinch nut so they sent a replacement leg. The old leg is basically a 30" metal baton that lives under the front seat of my car.
I have the one at the link in my tool box, purchased 55? years ago before Amazon was a thing. Good tool. When perusing the page at the link, there's another Eastwing version that is 2" longer, 8 oz heavier(16.1oz vs 10.7oz) with a handle that looks like an I-beam and it's $3.00 less expensive, FYI.
Useful for more than just pulling nails.
ReplyDelete........."Get Woke, Fiind Out!"
DeleteBought one less than a year ago, best flat bar I ever had in 40 years. Put under a door or cabinet and lift it to your hearts content.

DeleteBarely.
DeleteWhat you have here is someone cleverly combining 2 diff tools and losing with both.
Look at that cat's paw - it's not curved on the bottom. It'll tear the shit out of the wood if you try to dig a submerged nail with it.
The flat bar MUST be accompanied with the usual hook on the other end to be useful.
I have plenty of Estwing tools (mostly more than 30 years old) but this one is a fail.
Damn you for yet another excellent shill, er, recommendation! I'll be going broke soon...
ReplyDeleteLooks like it would penetrate a skull quite nicely.
ReplyDeleteall the above.
ReplyDeletea handsome oblect to admire, also.
