I wonder what effect long term living in place like this would have on your perception?

  4. Hope it is unbreakable or never sees a hail storm
Saves expenses on curtains, maybe not air conditioning though

  5. I guess if you've got the smash required to both own ocean-side land as well as have a clearly custom-home built on it, you might not have to worry about such things. But as a guy who washes his own windows, no thanks.

  10. Not buying it…you are talking structural glass in some situations and most manufacturers outside Germany can’t produce it, much less the IGU sizes suggested. The curved structural glass at Apples Cupertino HQ…$2M per IGU.

  14. 1) You'd learn to hate seagulls.
    2) And window-washing.
    3) Forget about getting a sleep-over date, let alone anyone longer-term, unless she was a stripper.

And the neighbors would probably sneak over when you were out, and paint walls on the outside, after seeing you on your way to or from the shower a couple of times.

All in all, an artistic but idiotic use of prime real estate.
