And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
until you experience these damm things first hand you just can't imagine how much wallop these flying fish can lay on you. fishing in the illinois river our record was 15 landing in the boat during one upriver run. my nephew got knocked out by one whilst he was waterskiing 3 years ago.
The more I watch it the more I'm convinced the fish did that on purpose.
