And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. Bogside found the restaurant I posted a picture of, and well, I'll be off to Sicily now!
These type of restaurants are all over Italy. Exquisite food and not terribly expensive. Just came home from Milan and had wonderful food there and many other places.
I lost my taste for "anything that breaths water" (seafood) many years ago. While I agree that Italy is one place that can make any meal a banquet, I would grant my seafood dishes to anyone but me.
I was stationed in northern Italy for 3 years in the early 80's. The food was the best thing about it, better than anywhere else I've been. These pictures make me want to go back today! Eod1sg Ret
I hope those were the appetizers, otherwise you’re gonna need to find a burger joint on the way home.
ReplyDelete(If you have any money left!)
Those all look great and I'd eat them all !!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know. If it was me, I'd be heading to Adin for a Fire Burger, an order of onion rings and... let's see... make it a Peach Shake.

ReplyDeleteNow that is how to cook something other than fish .sticks
ReplyDeleteIn my family, we make squid sauce as part of the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. No one else will eat the tentacles, lucky me.
