And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

1,800 square foot American flag flies above San Jose business for 4th of July. Proving there are still true patriots in the deepest recesses of the steaming bowel of America hatred.
I had a reserve unit there about 20 years ago and an OPS officer who knew the bikers of the gangs. We would go to this one restaurant/bar for lunch where our scrub tree cammo and about half the time we would stop by on the way in to the patio for lunch just to admire the bikes. There would be four or five us from the senior wardroom and we'd sit down and there would be 5 pitchers of beer on the table. Don't know what they're like elsewhere but in Cali they were all patriots and they were always happy to buy for the guys in uniform.
