And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Like so many "towns" in the state, its technically nothing more than a crossroads that shows up on a map as a "city." And I thought it was more out in the direction of Suches or Dahlonega given the mountains...
Yet if you go poke around on Google, every 3rd house nearby (not that many places in total, but...) Is a Hostel/Guest House, has Wifi, etc. Solar panels and satellite dishes. Weird green mountains covered with short grass, but no sheep to be seen. It still looks like its out back of beyond, but I'd visit...
