    1. Just west of Sandy Springs and Dunwoody; that is the headwater for the Chattahoochee.

    2. Is that where Charlie Daniels said the devil went to play his fiddle of gold?

    3. The Ramblin' Raft Race on the Chattahoochee in the 70s was always a lot of fun, but the crowds got too big and rowdy.

  2. Like so many "towns" in the state, its technically nothing more than a crossroads that shows up on a map as a "city." And I thought it was more out in the direction of Suches or Dahlonega given the mountains...

  3. Why would anyone want to live on the side of a mountain like that? Though it is the country of GA, I guess you get what you can...

  4. Yet if you go poke around on Google, every 3rd house nearby (not that many places in total, but...) Is a Hostel/Guest House, has Wifi, etc. Solar panels and satellite dishes. Weird green mountains covered with short grass, but no sheep to be seen. It still looks like its out back of beyond, but I'd visit...

  5. The Kildar books by John Ringo paint the country of Georgia in an interesting light.
