And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That is a nice looking J series. The rectangular headlights started in 79 but one year modal looked like the next during the 89's. I have a neighbor that has a 83 2WD J20 and he and his son have put a Mercedes Sprinter 4 cylinder turbo diesel in it. They have a long way to go before it looks as nice as the one in the picture.
A buddy had one of those back in the late 80s same color red and it was always breaking down on him. We used to joke that he probably walked as many miles as he drove that thing. Klaus
They were JUNK. The new ones are junk. I used to deliver Jeep pickups. They didn't have provisions for tie downs on the rear so we had to wrap chains around the spring shackles to keep them on the truck. Jeep trucks, International Scouts, the 70's Ford Broncos, they stopped making them cause they were junk. It's like guys that say B model Macks are classics. They weren't classics if you drove one. Sorry for the rant.
I'd drive that.
