And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
They've changed their manufacturing process. 2 years ago I bought 8 Carhartt short sleeve pocket T's and every.single.one. of them was made in a different country and had different fit to them. The "heather" ones have a serious problem with "pilling" - little tiny "balls" all over them when they've been washed.
I used to love Carhartt clothing and boots, but never again after they forced employees to take an experimental gene therapy poison against the rules of the EUA which states it must be VOLUNTARY and with INFORMED CONSENT. No one was given the 19 pages listing the over 1,200 adverse reactions to the poison jab. Carhartt is dead to me. Dickies is the way to go now.
My last pair of Dickies insulated coveralls was less expensive and lasted just as long as my last pair of Carhartt's. Also, if you believe the reviews, Carhartt's sizing charts are highly unreliable.
Carhartt is a current fashion trend among the non-blue collar set.
I have a heavy Carhartt jacket that´s over 25 years old and shows blue collar wear and tear. Still wear it today in cold weather. My son said I could sell it for about $400 plus to somebody who wants a well worn ´vintage´ Carhartt jacket.
I´ll pass on selling it. The wear and tear I put on it has a lot of memories attached to it not worth $400 to pass those memories on to somebody else who has not earn it through hard work
Been wearing Duluth Trader T's for about 5-6 years now. Outstanding product at a reasonable price. Fabric is of a heavy density that is long wearing and vastly superior to LL Bean. Both short/long sleeve shirts are available w/wo pocket. My only criticism is some colors are a bit "off" traditional shades and long sleeve t-shirts are not produced in "V-neck". Suppose beer sometimes isn't served with egg! A longtime fan of LL Bean products, I switched after their overseas supply-chain for T's became unable to maintain reasonable time-frames for availability & delivery.
Only the solid colors are cotton, but as others have noted, Carhartt is Woke and Compliant. I went off them before their Brave Declarations of Wokeness because they stopped making jeans for working men and started making them for narrow-assed hipless ass-crack euro-Goths - or something, I guess. Too bad; No thanks. I get my jeans from Key Apparel now.
Won't buy one. Nor any Carhartt product. They went Woke, and enforced a Vaxx Mandate on their employees. But before that, they outsourced most of their production to the ChiComs.
Lots of other choices for that sort or clothing. Lots made here in the us, and lots by Non-Woke companies.
I know your links and suggestions are there to make you a few bucks off of Amazon, but promoting that sort of company? Yer better than that.
Carhartt cheapened the line, so as to sell to more people. Take a look at https://www.legendarywhitetails.com/ as a replacement. I tend to live in their flannel shirts fall to spring.
Oh, the *shirt*! I thought you needed a new farmhand, though I don't think they sell those to most people nowadays. You could probably purchase some at the "border" though.
Carhartt continued to enforce an employee vax mandate despite the Supreme Court ruling. Sadly, like Levi's, they are now dead to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me. Never forgive, never forget.

DeleteAnd who buys shirts without pockets except for dress?
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to get a booster first.
ReplyDeleteThat fits like a garbage bag, I can't stand loose fitting shirts.

ReplyDeleteAre Euro-Goths related to Euro-Weenies? I'm guessing they're one in the same.

ReplyDeleteSorry but loose fit is code for fat guy.
ReplyDeleteGreat for mosquito season down here, but gotta be loose fit.
ReplyDeleteNever buying Carhartt again… will not support any company that willfully violates the Nuremberg Code… buy better products both morally and qualitywise
