JUNG_E | Official Trailer | Netflix. -- Just watched this. It's in Korean. Way, way better than you'd think. The story line dodges around to multiple surprises that'll leave you going, "wait, WHAT!?"

    1. You might be surprised what it is about, but you'd have to watch it first before rendering judgement.

  4. If I wanted to read subtitles, I'd read a book. I am very physically limited in that I can only visually focus on one thing at a time...or maybe it's a racist thing.

  5. Oh boy, just what I was waiting for, ANOTHER super woman that can bash hundreds of men in a 5-min fight. Um...yeah... as they say in Texas, "El Paso."

  8. Ok, we are going to take the plot lines from Robo Cop, Terminator, Blade Runner, 2010 and High Noon and do it in Korean. No thanks, I'll rewatch the originals.

  9. I remember when I wouldn't watch a movie if it had subtitles, but eventually, having the lips out of sync was even more annoying. Now, with age-related hearing loss,I have to use subtitles with everything, even American. I like British stuff and the accents lose me. I wish I had subtitles when I call customer service. It becomes so automatic that you feel like you're understanding even when they're speaking Danish or whatever. Before someone says "hearing aid" I had my hearing checked and they said a hearing aid wouldn't help.

  10. My son watched it on Netflix today. No subtitles - it was dubbed in English. I caught bits and pieces. When I asked him his opinion, his response was "It was ok. 3-4 on a 5 scale.
