And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Vittorio Giardino - The Quiet Time. That lizard is gonna scamper right up her leg if she's not careful.
Near that box, a few feet over, is a shower drainhole. Near the drainhole, a few feet over is a vertical water pipe. On the pipe is a handle, as well as a hose bib faucet. The water pipe has two 90 degree joints, and then it ends with a shower faucet. I assume all this is so that when someone is done being in the nearby salt water, they can rinse off with some freshwater. So, . . . I don't think that box is a kitty litter box (smile).
The Occupational Health and Safety Administration came by and performed an inspection. They said that it had to be extended that way. They said that a light breeze would make some water and mist fall onto the steps, causing a slip hazard.
That looks warm and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteThe patio at the Straw House on 299?
ReplyDeleteKeep a sharp eye out for mountain lions.
The lizard scampering up her leg is a meta, right?
ReplyDeleteSorry, “metaphor.”
DeleteThere's a litter box in the corner by the stairs.

ReplyDeleteSomething to wipe your feet?
ReplyDeleteHorizontal pipe on the shower appears too long. Water will overshoot the drain and onto the patio.
