And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I built a sideways motorcycle holder in 1988. I took a Honda 250 to college from Lubbock to Longview behind the old yellow LTD. It worked perfectly. I took the front wheel off to keep it within the width of the car. Got a LOT of looks on that trip.
I used two angle iron clips to hook over the bumper so I could rotate it up and remove it from the bumper. IIRC, it had a two bolts to hold it on. Easy on, easy off. Man, those were the days.
